How much without going thru insurance? Your premium might go up if you use insurance.
geico quoted 890, they only quoted buffing and polishing no paint... my preferred auto body estimated 3600 for removing and painting both doors and blending. Rather get it done at a place I know.

Yikes! Wish we had a sentry mode like Tesla. Anyone using a dashcam that runs on the car's idle battery? This is one of my biggest fears
I have a 3-camera system from Vantrue on my F-350. I am going to put the same system in my MME when it arrives. There is no issue with running the camera system off the 12 volt battery - it has a sensor where it will detect if the battery is starting to get low it turns itself off. In parking mode the camera system draws so little power that it'll last for weeks.

Sorry this happened to you, people are crazy.

About the pictures though, I thought the Mach-E looks good with the hatch up and even with the bumper removed, the proportions look good. If Ford somehow did an even more aggressive rear with the sloping hatch for a future Shelby Mach-E, I think it would look excellent.

Keep an eye, those systems shut down after the 12v battery reaches a certain voltage, then what happens is the traction battery sees the 12v is below x volts and will charge it up. Then the dashcam system will see the 12v is 'OK' now and will turn back on only to start the process all over.

endless cycle will kill the 12v

I have a switch that 'kills' the cam while parked at the house (lots of security cams so not needed so much at home) that way it doesn't drain the battery as much.

I just got my camera system for the Mach E last weekend - same one I have in my F-350 (3-camera system from Vantrue). So I popped open the body module fuse box. Man does Ford make it so hard to work in there - so tight! Anyway, I have identified which unused fuse I plan to connect the camera to. Now my problem is there is not a single metal screw anywhere in the area I can use for the ground wire. It is all plastic, or metal but not connected to the chassis. Where did you connect your ground wire to?

I also use a "kill switch" on the F-350 (its just the overhead upfitter switch #6). I'm not sure if I'll need one for the Mach E... I have it plugged into the wall charger when it's at home... doesn't the wall charger also charge up the 12v battery? Meaning the camera would take its power from the wall charger instead of the 12v battery. Or... no?

I used an OBDII connector, it 'found' the ground for me. And an inline On/Off switch to turn it off at home.
