I have had pleasant interactions with Brazilian law enforcement when I was a child. I’ve also had pleasant interactions with UK, Thai, and Chinese law enforcement (all as a tourist). I would add that I’ve always had pleasant interactions with law enforcement.

I think stealing or damaging a vehicle should incur the same penalties that people used to get for stealing or laming a horse.......usually a quick trip to a tree with a low hanging branch with rope attached. Of course now days you would probably have to use a light pole as most trees in city are not big enough for that. Actually, after some research only about 13% of horse thieves were executed. Most just went to jail.

To me it sounds like it is highly location-dependent. In some areas you won't get much follow-up. In other areas, you'll get quite a lot.

So if you only ever drive or park in areas where you know law enforcement is unwilling/unable to follow up on smaller crimes, then an equivalent of Sentry Mode would seem worthless. Otherwise, it could prove quite valuable.

In a previous car, I had an encounter with a parking lot macho donkey which led to police involvement. Lacking a side-looking cam in my parked car (I had front and rear cams), I could provide neither a plate nor face footage of the goober to an officer who was ready to investigate. Parking lot cameras sometimes are just for show...

I haven’t had this happen and it sucks. But hate is real man. I got my wife the cyber orange GT. I admit most people are nice and have actually told us they love the car but we also get some hate. Like people speeding up when we merge on freeway. Some people cutting infront of us for no reason. Today we were on our last stretch home and turned on our street and made a right. There was an old van at the stop sign and flipped my wife off for no reason as we made the right turn. We don’t speed, we don’t try to out others down but some people be hating for real on us. It’s nuts. We never realized it but wow there are haters in the world even only cuz you have a nice car

That’s well and good, if you’re lucky enough to recognize the offender, then figure out their insurance company.

It might work also if you get the license plate in the video somehow as well.

But without either of those situations, you’d just be looking for the “man in the yellow hat.”

The other day an F-150 pulled up and the passenger (guy in his 30s) excitedly pointed to the Mach-E, getting the attention of the driver and kid in the back seat. We smiled and waved. They pulled in front of us and kept driving. I saw a big opening, so I pulled in the left lane and put the hammer down until we got to 95, then eased off and pulled back in the right lane. A few minutes later, they caught up to us, and the guy was grinning ear to ear, and yelling something like "all right, all right". I looked carefully, but it was not Matthew McConaughey...

We've only had someone stomp on it once, we ignored them. Most people smile when they look at it.

Man so true. We get random people. One day I was getting on freeway there was Volvo suv. He sped up and started racing me and all I was trying to do was merge lmao. I had to slam my brakes and let him move on to get on.

the other day we were just cruising and this suburu speeds up instead of slowing down to take exist and cuts infront of us to take the exist lmao. My wife was like what an idiot.

And on our way back home. We make a right turn on the last street and this old dodge minivan was at the stop sign had to wait for us since we were cross traffic. We made a right and she flips us off with anger. I was like what did we do. ???

we don’t even mess around. Just try to cruise. My wife even gets it now. I was like doesn’t look like people have anything to lose so let’s just be cool and not engage Lmao.

Too bad my dumb self did not order the co pilot 360 camera option.....I know it doesn't record but the cameras are of great assistance for the Wifey to park. She is afraid to drive it bc of that.....
