Man I was hoping the GT and GTPE were going to get the suede on the bottom steering wheel insert. That looked good.
Yeah on the bottom I feel like maybe not so bad, although I do rest my hand there a lot while highway cruising so maybe bad for maintenance. One thing in the PE versions I was like uhhhh no thanks was the fully covered steering wheel. In these pictures looks like it's completely removed, I wonder if it'll still be included on the PE's.

Oh awesome, I didn't realize you were actually there. Do they allow you to take and show full video and everything too or is it all embargoed right now? Either way I'm super excited to finally see some actual GT interior, and I'm more excited they didn't just go with the Performance model since car companies usually only show the most expensive model and you don't see anything else. Ordering site unseen and waiting months has had me a little worried with how different the two GT models will be compared to Premium models.

Interior maintenance and detailing should be interesting, I've never had to clean suede before.
These photos were taken at the press preview yesterday. Idk if the car will be unlocked for the public show today, but I should be able to tell by looking through the window regardless.

For what it’s worth, the guy that took these pics said that the seats felt just about the same in comfort as the premium seats.

I just don't know how I feel about the Miko on the doors and dash. Maybe it's something you have to see in person, since I've never been in a car with Miko it kind of worries me. Maybe someone else here that's owned Miko interior can calm my nerves. I'm definitely happy they didn't go with a Miko steering wheel.

Also intersting that either it doesn't have the copper piping in the doors and dash, or maybe the light doesn't make it look copper?

Edit: I think they are copper and it's really downplayed and not super bright which I'm also happy about. Hilariously in the computer renders my wife said the copper piping and stitching accents looks like something someone would put in their ghetto cars. LOL. I was like I don't think you've seen many 6 figure sports cars lately.
I've had a number of STI's that had the suede seats and I had no problems maintaining them well. You just keep it clean so dirt and debris doesn't grind into it and a light wiping with an All Purpose Cleaner with a MF towel keeps it looking good.

I've also had suede steering wheels (ZHP 330i) and they do look really gross with time but that's on the outside mostly. The location of the suede on the inside probably would have held up fine for most people....but I can understand why they didn't go with it ultimately.

I saw the F-150 Lightning video on Raiti's Rides last night, was hoping he'd have the Mach E GT up today but no luck. Seems like he'd want the Lightning and Mach E up first thing which makes me wonder if they're holding off on journalists. And also no online write ups at all yet.

Here's the F-150 video, if I remember right there's like one shot where you can see the Mach E in the background, although there are a lot of shots of that super sexy Ford GT hanging out back there.

Who's your source on the pictures? I've been scouring the internet trying to find some sort of coverage on the MMEGT with no luck. And thanks for sharing!

Looks like micro-suede seat inserts. My experience is that they can be comfy, but ultimately get stretched out faster than the stock premium ones. plus , might miss the perforations, although I don't think they really help that much with cooling a hot sticky seat. maybe a little. The base of the seat looks pretty much like the Premium seat with different trim. Basically same support feel.

I think it's the lighting, and the original order page seat pics were on a darker color vinyl I think, which actually looked nicer to me than these. Hard to tell.

I think it's the lighting for both things. It's kind of washing out the copper along the doors and dash, but it's also blowing out the seats and making them look grey. The order page is actually a computer generated image anyway so they can make it look darker than the real thing too.

Sofyan Bey, the guy who runs the 'Redline Reviews' YouTube channel, posted them in the MME Nation Facebook group. He doesn't have a video out on the car though.

Thanks so much for posting the interior photos!
The seats look very similar in pattern to my 2015 base GT cloth.
Orange accents and GT on the console top it all off nicely.
All I need now are 'GT' or 'MachE GT' embroidered on the floor mats.
(For the love of God please push the headrests down, sorry a problem I have)

There are aero inserts. And again it's subjective. Some of us don't mind them.

Without the inserts they do look better.

Looks so much better with them off.
Im going to ask my dealer to remove them when our comes in.

Removing the inserts will probably reduce your range by 5-10%. Probably easy enough for you to remove them when driving around town, and then put them back on for highway trips when range matters the most.

I really don't see it having that much impact. The PE has 10 miles less range, on stickier summer tires. I can't see the covers off making the range worse than that.

Car and Driver did Model 3 test with/without covers and saw only 2.5% hit at 70mph. betting it's even less than that since there are still some pretty large gaps in the wheel on the GT with aero cover to increase drag.

Man they must really be holding off on letting people upload on the mach e. His redline reviews channel had a bunch of videos on cars at the show but not the mach e yet. No other videos or articles from anyone else yet either.

So far the only thing I've seen that includes the Mach E GT from Chicago, it'll have to do for now I guess
