Mach E GT Performance deliveries thread

Figured I'd start a thread with the first GT Performances coming off the line this month! Would love to hear from those who get the first ones and their opinions on it. Crazy to me that they are being built as soon as this week but still no press.

Factor in the slow train ride from Old Mexico and we are likely looking at September deliveries. This coincides with the traditional new model year press events. Hopefully, Ford will get their software crap together by that time so that they have something to show off.

Based on recent build to delivery timelines that seems overly pessimistic, but I guess we'll see. Good luck.

If the report of production stalling is true, it’s anyone’s guess when they’ll be built, much less begin to ship:

I am still hoping to hear something - anything - about my 7/4 build week order in the next few days. I still don’t know for sure whether there should be some change to my tracker info (such as a new date) when the vehicle actually begins assembly, so I don’t know what will be revealed once I do finally get an update. But I’ll definitely post as soon as I have something to report.

Mine updated when my car was built. Then again when it shipped.

Are you not a fan of the wheels that come with the GT Performance? That was the big reason for me to go up from the GT, thought the rims on GTPE looked pretty fire.

So I do like the style but I still think they are too small. I’m going to move up to 21 or 22”.

I may be crazy but while I like the look of the wheels on the PE all I can imagine is how hard those will be to keep clean. I felt the GT's combo of the easy to clean wheels along with all seasons for my use were ideal. The magneride also concerned me a hair on the life and cost to replace for the dampers.

Does larger affect the range positively or negatively?

My primary car right now is a BMW M2 Competition, the rims are a pain but worth it.
