Hello,

Based on other advice on here, I originally placed an order for a Mach E Premium ER AWD. However, due to concerns that it would take many months, and some stories of people waiting a year or more, I started searching for Mach E's around me in stock ordered by dealer. I was able to find a 2021 Mach E GT that the dealer would let go at MSRP!

It is a Star White GT, with panoramic glass roof with the Ford CoPilot 360 camera for $64800. Other dealers I've called wanted $10k ADM for this vehicle. I placed a deposit on this right away.

I was wondering if this is a good deal, considering it is a 2021 and I'm paying MSRP? The car was built in 12/2021, and is being delivered to dealer with est date of March.

Thanks for your response.

My main concern is that the $7500 tax credit will end for the MME by the time I get my order, so I jumped on this right away.

Yes, it is a good deal. I think 2021's are better, since we haven't seen any other changes on 2022's yet that are positives. The only one so far is 3 extra kWhs of battery, but we're still remaining optimistic 2021's will get that too as some point. You would lose the handsfree liftgate and potentially the acoustic laminate front windows, plus they increased the price, if you went with a 2022.

A few new updates came out recently for 2021 GTs that improve the charging curve and other things. I would just try and get your dealer to do all available software updates in FDRS before taking possession.

Oh and getting a car at MSRP in today's market is literally the goal, sadly!
