Does it only happen at certain speeds or when you're idle as well?
The problem is it is a gradual feeling for me. I drove it out to get donuts this morning and when I got back, my ears hurt. I don't know at what speed it started to hurt. It makes it hard to debug.

I had my Tesla for 13 months so I was able to do more experiments with that. It would hurt my ears %50 of the time, and there seemed to be no correlation to speed/road anything.

Very strange, do your ears have issues when you use noise canceling headphones as well?

This was where I was building my line of questioning too. I’ll bet there’s a connection. I don’t get it if I have two noise canceling headphones in, but if I have one—like an AirPod Pro in Noise Canceling mode without its mate—it feels like it’s going to knock me over to one side. I’m just not sure what the connection means, but I’ll bet there’s something there.

Also, do you live at a high altitude? I see you’re in Orlando. Nope.

I don't have noise cancelling headphones.

Wait, are you seeing you feel this ear pain too?

I don’t in the Mach-E, no, but the feeling you describe is similar to what I feel with imbalanced noise-canceling headphones. If I have both in, no problem. If I have one, it feels like I’m going to fall over.

You should find some and just use them anywhere and see how they make you feel just having noise cancellation on, doesn’t have to be in the car. Some people have issues with them, I’m curious if you’re one of them, which could explain it’s something related to how those work.

Do you still have the Mach-e, and if so how is it working out for you?

I don't recall seeing anyone ask this, but by chance have you 'upgraded' your cabin air filter? Or changed it at all?

No, I hadn't seen that. Interesting. What's the logic behind that?

can you pray for an electronic frunk release OTA for @Jimrpa?
Ha! I did pray when I had a rattle that was driving me crazy. A couple days later I found a lose cover under the rear seats and putting it back in fixed it.

I only ask because with the cabin being relatively air-tight, most of the incoming air goes through the cabin air filter. The stock one doesn't do a great job of filtering smells, so some people upgrade them, but additional filtration can also restrict airflow and my thought is it could be causing differences in pressure. Your saying you had negative pressure in your ear is what got me thinking along those lines.

But if you haven't changed it, that's unlikely to be the issue. ?

I have had my Mach e 4Xe for 6 days and I am experiencing ear pressure pain. To me it is the same feeling I get from noise cancelling headphones, only greater. I come from a Tesla model 3 and noticed an issue with it when I got it but found the solution was to put it in ā€œrollā€ stopping mode and the pressure was gone. The reason I didn’t get another one is that the new ones don’t allow you to choose the stopping mode anymore, it’s hold mode or nothing. I test drove the Mach e multiple times and felt great and I love the car. I didn’t have any issues in one pedal mode either. Then after leasing it I started feeling the ear pressure issue. I think the car is great and believe that like the model 3 there is a solution. Is there a way of disabling active noise canceling? I’ve tried using all driving modes, using one pedal, using L mode, having no resistance but the pressure is still there. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very appreciative. Again, I love the car, just want to solve this one issue.
