Does anyone know the purpose of the divot? I saw it and am not sure of the functionality it adds?
Because people aren't smart enough to figure out where to push on the door. Divot looks like crap IMO.

I don't think my 2024 did, granted I only had it a couple of weeks and I might have charged twice and didn't notice but my 2021 did not
Yes, your 2024 had it. As stated, it was added in 2023.

For those of you playing from home, I had a 2021, then traded in for a 2024 which promptly got totaled, and I just finally found a 2025 that was actually in stock.

When searching in Florida using an Orlando zip code and doing a 500 mile search, literally it was a couple of dealers in Miami and one in South Georgia that had any car in actual stock everything else is in transport with no certain delivery date they will promise. Florida is a Mach E sales desert these days if you're in the market.

So on to the 2025, she's white and sparkly so maybe she's part unicorn  ?
I went up to Kingsland GA to buy her which is just over the state line. It was a pleasent experience because I was able to do almost everything online ahead of time and just needed to sign the finance/lease paperwork in person. I'm guessing because I was an out of town buyer they didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of service packages or that sort of thing which was awesome and less stressful.

The stalk thing is new but I've quickly gotten used to it. Thank goodness I saw a post on here about it and knew what to do when I reached for the dial and it wasn't there.

One thing I don't understand is what the graphic to the right of the speed is telling me the one with the lighting bolt? The battery gauge is on the other side so it's not that. Is it some kind of efficiency meter? Like the old butterflies were in the electric Focus? I miss those butter flies.

What else is different on the 2025 that I haven't figured out yet?

Updated on what I've found that's different or new after one day with it:
- #1 Fav new feature: French Fry Holder ?
- The Frunk is completely reduced and no longer has the drainage hole for ice (I never used mine so no loss there for me) Not sure what the joystick is on the left? Anyone know?
- They put a little divot in the charger door so you have a target to press
- No knob to spin - it's all on the stalk and the Park button on the end is a touch aggravating if you have long nails
- Console outlets are rearranged so old console selves don't work and new ones aren't out yet @AOSK we need you to get to work on that one
- The phone charger is still too small to lay a larger model phone on flat so it connects properly.
- Was super pleased when the stitching wasn't red, I know that sounds weird but every single stock photo on line with the dark interior only shows red stitching

Things I already ordered: Black dial cover for the screen, hate the silver it looks cheap and a phone mount that goes on the corner of the screen because I still like to see my phone.

Thanks for sharing all the “new” with photos. I have a 2021 RWD EB with 78k miles and have been looking for a new one.

Anyone besides me think the gear shift stalk (err... motion stalk?) is backwards. If it were me the engineer, I'd have made the push-up Forward and the push-down Reverse.
Old school column shifters had Park at the top, then R/N/D/L. Up for Forward would totally mess with my old head!

100 times yes! Up should be forward and down should be backwards. It feels totally backwards the way it is .. it should follow your eye up and look out the windshield, down and look backwards or down to the camera
LOL if you think that's backward, the current NASCAR Cup cars use a sequential shifter where the lever moves forward and backward. If you pull back on the stick it shifts up a gear. Push forward to go down, eventually to Neutral and Reverse. You get used to it but it's initially kind of backward. ??
