The Ford Mach-E Range estimation is not very good. Better to pay attention to the state of charge and the trip miles/KWH. If you charge to 100% state of charge (soc) you can validate range by determining the actual miles driven when you get to 50% soc.

I typically see 3.9 mi/KWH with highway driving which for an 88KWH battery implies a range of ~345 miles from full charge. Since I usually recharge at 20% the practical range is ~280 miles with ~50 mile reserve. That's what I am getting for my 2021 California Rt1

The miles/KWH will depend on the driving speed and terrain.

This is the first I've heard of this issue! ?
The EPA range rating on the 2021 CA Rt1 is 305mi. On my vehicle the range estimation at full charge is typically 240miles which is why I recommended to operate based on soc.

My apologies. I was being sarcastic. There are MANY threads on this topic, especially now that it is winter. This is the explanation thread many of us reference whenever a newbie complains about their range being wrong or that their car has the wrong battery:

Actually, the vehicle companies have elaborate range estimation models. Ford's is just not very good yet. My 2019 Kia Niro EV actually has a realistic range estimation that agrees with the reported Mi/KWH and a 64KWH battery.

Yeah, you might want read up on things around here a bit. Most of us are well versed in just how the range meter hedges range on the rather conservative side.
