This showed 2 things:
Nice stout bumper on the Mach E
No damage to the tailgate!

I was thinking the same thing....tailgate seems untouched. There has been some concern about that on various sites. Sometimes people get worked up about things that hardly ever come to pass....

So let me redirect your attention - does this mean we will be seeing reviews soon?

Maybe it's just me, or just the close up on the back, but the gaps look bigger. Would be best to have before and after pics. I assume it was verified trunk opens and closes without issue?

My wife's first vehicle was a metallic red 1972 Mazda 808 wagon. I hit a 1967 Rambker American accidentally and the front left fender was smashed. My father and I removed it, and with our bare handes, punched the fender back into shape (no tools). That was just one example of how soft the Mazda is. We had the fender repaired professinaly and sold it to buy her white 1980 Mustang . And THAT was a strong car! It was hit by a Flxible passenger bus one late night in 1985 and the left fender was pushed it, yet the Mustang was drivable after the collison. The indicent did scare the driver and all of his passengers, since most were asleep when it happened. I had the blame because I crossed the bus lane without looking. I had the fender repaired and the 1980 Mustang was given to my nephew in 1996.

I will never buy another Mazda!

For those who never saw a Flxible bus or took a ride into one:
