- 2021 Mach E AWD Premium, Fisker Ocean One (preord)
Hi,We’re going to upgrade the OEM summer tires that we optioned on our 4X to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4s in size 245/50-19 shortly after we take delivery. The specs say they fit a 7”- 8.5” rim width and that they are 2 lbs lighter per tire than the OEM 225/55s. Removing 8 lbs of rotating mass is a big deal and may offset the extra rolling resistance of the wider contact patch.

But, if we also decide to get aftermarket wheels they’re going to look better than the ones Alex got. Those are rubbish on a Mach E.
I am also thinking of upgrading my AWD Premium Mach E stock tires but do not want to change the 19" rims. When you changed to 245/50x19, did you change the rims or only tires?
I visited Ford and few local shops but nobody could confirm if wider width tires will fit on the stock 19" rims.
