Mach-E V2L function.

Morning folks,

I've done a search but can't fine the answer - does the2024 Mach-E have the potential for the V2L (Vehicle to Load). I'm picking up a new Mach-E at the beginning of June.

My current chariot is a MG ZS EV and does have this very handy function. Thanks!

Yes edge2mme, it used to power any outside appliances like a fridge/kettle etc. I have a cable with a traditional 3 pin plug on one end and the other end plugs into the charging port. I can then select in the car screen to discharge.

V2L (“Vehicle to Load”) is the umbrella term here.

Finished this setup for use on Rocky Mountain Race Week/Mega Week this year. 6 hour test window showed great results, at about 100amp 12v load on the Mach-E, producing around 11 amps continuous on the 110v side.

The GT has a 150 amp inverter on the 12v side, so theoretically we could do up to 14 amps on the 110v side, but our camp fans/charging equipment and such only pulls about 3 amps, so plenty of overhead. Used an Anderson connector in the Frunk so it all disconnects nice and neatly when it's race time.
