Ford Mustang Mach-E Mach-E Wrap Inspo?! 3C596CA2-0F03-49EA-833C-8396AA3AC001

Front Xpel PPF - supposed to be invisible protection.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Mach-E Wrap Inspo?! 1091939D-282C-475D-80DB-4AECEBFF422B

3M 2080 S344 Satin Canyon Copper Vinyl, with Gloss Black stripes and Brushed Black Aluminum nose - not meant to be as durable as PPF more for looks. My MachE is actually SpaceWhite. Same as @Murse-In-Airy I opted NOT to vinyl my door pillars or other bits like inside of frunk hood or hatch.

Thanks for the great information! Do you have a sense of what it costs to wrap a Mach-E?
I paid $3400 for the wrap and stripes. Another $200 for the side stripes and $100 to have them applied. I did my own vinyl specific ceramic coat for $100. So I’m at $3800 total. I’m hoping it lasts 3-4 years. Then I’ll go back to Dark Matter Grey, or Nightshade Purple, or Rushing Riptide. So many options.

So the vinyl wrap only lasts 3-4 years? Interesting. What happens to it? Just tears and what not?

Might start to peel or fade. Also leaving it on more than 4-5 years can have the adhesive come off and stick to the paint underneath. Then you’ll be forced to recover in vinyl or repaint.

Same thing with PPF or does that last longer?

Don’t really know about longevity of that. I’ve never bought it.

Going to do Matte Metallic Pine Green when I get mines. Going to attempt to tackle it myself. Best of luck to me lol.
It should be a rather straight forward job for 80% of the vehicle. You can probably get away with a single sheet for the Premium front bumper, but the GT looks like it'll need some inlays around the L + R vent areas. All rear bumpers may need an inlay around the hatch deck area. Depending on the film you use, a single piece might be doable with the proper care.

I've wrapped a handful of vehicles. I've learned I dislike 3M and Avery. Vvivid is garbage (at least the older stuff was; haven't tried the newest air release products), and I've grown to love Oracal 970RA. I actually just received a roll of 970RA-571 Ballistic Blue to wrap my Outback XT.

@connoisseurr Thanks for the tip! Might hit you up when it comes around. I pre-ordered 3M 2080. Planning on using gloss black on the ā€œgrillā€ and the tail light which I assume will be an in-lay of some sort. Not sure if that’s the correct term lol.

I'm going to ask a stupid question...apologies in advance...do you have to have perfect paint to do this? I was told that because I bought a demo car with 5,000 miles on it that it wouldn't really be worth it to do PPF because the paint at that point was imperfect. Is a wrap the same? Does it cover the interior as well, where the doors are painted interior speaking? Thanks!
I am firm believer of asking any questions if you are curious about or have no knowledge of to understand and learn from others who has done it. Never a stupid question just a silly question............JK
Seriously, if you don't ask, you won't know, Right?

Anyway, I am sure your MME with 5000 miles at purchase didn't have imperfections with the paint unless you were told so from the Dealership. As for as wrapping, think of a material covering over your existing paint where ever you ask the shop to wrap....
Keep in mind, wrapping a new color over your existing one is different than a PPF (paint protection film) which is clear to protect he paint. I had mine PPF the entire car minus the black sport roof.

Normal wraps whether it's PPF or Color only covers the exterior----------> door jambs, trunk or under the hood is doable if you want to pay more......

Cost for PPF is different vs color wraps and color choice. I am in California and looks like you're in the Northeast which may cost less...

Best of luck and YOLO.......Just do it!

I have PPF on my 2015 Mustang GT that still looks great, and I had it done the day after I bought the car in October of 2014… it’s black on black 50th package and the PPF has done it’s job!

Got the same PPF brand for the MME GT a couple months ago. Couldn’t be happier. I wouldn’t want to trifle with a perfect color like cyber orange :)
