MachE 2023 Headliners issues

Does anyone knows how to prevent headliners and ceiling border to go out of place ? I replaced headliners less than a year ago, and now they are again showing like this.. is not worst than last year, but a car in the 2020s shouldn’t have this type of issues, specially one as expensive as this and just 1 year old for the second time.. Note that first time was just days out of dealer less than 300 miles.

I feel your pain. I push it back in but my head bumps this area when I get in. I've just given up.

wow yours is worse. This is the only issue i have with this car.. Is a so basic thing it annoys me. Ford should take more attention to details like this.. This is not a EV problem.. is just a car cosmetic issue. . And probably the dealer will just “try again “ and no properly solve it..

Porsche's are notorious for this kind of thing and the explanation is that the regulations over there don't allow for the use of the best adhesives. Something about it has to be water based?

As for the cost of the Mach-E, the 2005 Porsche in the barn had the same MSRP as my 2023 GTPE. That's 19 years ago!

sux i saw this in jap cars but after years of use.. like 10+. but less than a year or even days after the dealer.. sux..

We had this problem new on a 23 standard. Dealer replaced headliner. Fine since.

No reason the dealer shouldn't be able to replace it... again. But if that gets frustrating or the next one does it too, I'd start looking for an upholstery shop around you that can maybe do a proper repair on it.

Yea thats my point. I will request a replace. But will be second time.. i saw others having issues even after 2 times.. So i guess depends on the install or weather conditions
