May production?

Good Luck. I ordered 10/1/21 and have heard nothing. Dealer says I am next on their allocation list, but that was a month ago.

I’m losing hope pretty quickly from these replies.

They're probably planning to transition to 2023 significantly earlier than last time. The end of the 22 MY could be as soon as late summer. At some point they'll open up new orders for 23 MY cars produced in the fall.

You could be right but I doubt it as you can still order 2022 Select and GT models. Also My understanding is Job 2 vehicles are just now being scheduled for May production. My guess is 23MY orders will begin in October just like last year. Should have my Mach by then for certain! (Actually should be here in a week or two unless the barge sinks!)

Youll see some vocal haters of the color on the FB pages but since the first few IBSMs have rolled out those ppl have stayed quiet now that they know its not the same type of "iced blue" from Ford of the past. ? ? ?

I ordered a GTPE the first week of July 2021. Build started 1/5. Still haven’t gotten the final built email and the dealer says all they can see is chip hold. Other people have ordered after me and started production after me and gotten their cars already. Most frustrating experience buying anything ever. Hopefully for you your experience will be better but understand there is not much you or your dealer can do and things can take a looooooong time.

Hopefully for you your experience will be better but understand there is not much you or your dealer can do and things can take a looooooong time.

I’m going to try to be patient. I hope you get good news soon. July is a long time ago.

Same thing with me a GT which has already delivered and a select which was dealer ordered after me me.

But that clearly didn't work out. Ordering in October was supposed to be for cars that were built starting in November, but the 2022 didn't end up being produced until January. From a logistics standpoint seems they will have to build in more of a cushion especially since supply chain issues remain a concern.

wow. for 10/01/21 you should have received something by now. did you receive a VIN at least?

I ordered my ‘22 Select AWD on 24 Jan 2022. It is scheduled for 11 Apr 2022. I have a VIN and a window sticker. I’m in B.C. Canada.

Interesting, there is no rhyme or reason with the ordering to production timeline. I hope everything goes smoothly for you?

I think begin ordering in October for January production. When I ordered in November the estimate was 28+ weeks.

I ordered in January praying I would have it by my birthday- Jun 4th. I can see that is an unrealistic goal?
