I keep getting the message "memory recall unavaiable while driving".
This is usually when parked at the end of a trip.
Has anyone else had this and what des it mean?

I believe it is about the saved seat positions

I’ve never seen nor even heard of that message in my nearly 4 years with this car.

Try to press 1 on your door when the car is moving

Or select a different profile from the Sync screen while moving.

I got that this morning. I hit 1 on the drivers door seat memory to make sure my seat is where I want it to be and make sure my driver profile is selected on the center screen. It has to be a bug. It happens a few times a month.

Glitching probably
Probably. Another possibility is that the car thinks it's still moving. The 1 mph error is a bit notorious in these parts. If the car actually "thinks" it's moving at 1 mph, it could trigger that message when the button is pushed. On the other hand, I get the impression that the op is getting that message without pressing the button at the end of a drive, which is very odd.

happens to me every once in awhile. i ignore it. i assume that it's the profile being initiated and depending on when that is happening the software sometimes reacts as if the car is moving and throws that error message, even though my seat is in position. i have not noticed if it happens exclusively with PAAk or key fob. i rarely drive with my key fob but when i do my phone is on me so perhaps it is doing two profile initiations and that is why it happens? i will pay more attention.

Good thought on PaaK vs. fob. I always have both unless I forget my fob.

I've noticed that 100% of the time when I press my foot on the brake (before pressing start to turn on the car) if it doesn't press down it will give me this message.

i.e.,

Vehicle off >> press foot on brake (doesn't press down) >> press start >> pedal goes down and car turns on >> "memory recall unavailable while driving"

Haven't noticed any issues and it looks like memory positions still work but I'll usually tap my memory preset just in case.

For those in the UK following the official Post Office inquiry on YouTube it usually means that the Post Office employee witnesses get this message unless it was personally advantageous to them. (Not to be confused with the Postmasters/Postmistresses).
