Menu Animations

I need to turn menu animations off. They are slow and pose a danger to the driver. The recirculate icon literally moves while I'm trying to select it. Does anyone know how to stop this dangerous feature?

There's no option that I've seen to turn off any animations. And I'd make a small wager that part of the reason there are animations is to somewhat mask the absolute pathetic performance of the system powering the main screen. Which in itself is funny, because the animations themselves are laggy enough... so I cannot even imagine how slow everything would feel without them.

When someone takes this tact, I simple ignore them. Never have to read their stuff again.
