Didn't know how good we had it with our 2021 MME First Edition until we upgraded to a 2023 MME GT Performance Edition and found that metal pedals were unique to the First Edition. :-(((( It's the only thing about the GT PE that is a disappointment relative to our First Edition.
It turns out that @AOSK has made a very fine third-party solution that is indistinguishable from the metal pedals on the First Edition.

I bought these pedal covers from Lexley on Amazon and I’m quite happy with them. They are an aluminum plate with a rubber backing. The fit and quality is very good.

It looks like the accelerator cover is upside down. 2 pads on the bottom like the brake pedal.
