UPDATE...ISSUE RESOLVED!!!

Turns out the Control Pilot pin on my car was bent, and the A2Z adapter was unable to connect to the bent pin. The odd thing is that my home charger was able to connect, as was a local ChargePoint station. I guess all J1772 connectors are NOT the same. So, here's my advice to anyone with an A2Z adapter..."Be sure to inspect your car inlet prior to inserting the adapter!"

Attached are photos of the A2Z adapter and the Ford connector. It's easy to see why one worked and the other didn't.

Special thanks to Mach-Lee for his insight, as well as to A2Zev for all the time they spent helping me sort this out. You guys rock!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I can't get my car to initiate a charge at a Supercharger. Here's what I know.
1-It's not the adapter. I'm using an A2Z adapter, which I received yesterday and couldn't get it to work. I called tech support and he couldn't figure it out so he overnighted me a new one. The new adapter arrived today and it didn't work either, so the CEO of A2Z Facetimed me and he couldn't figure it out either. Fortunately, a Rivian pulled into the space where my previous attempt had failed (I had moved to a different space) and he successfully initiated a charge using MY adapter. So, I know the adapter works.
2-It's not the Supercharger. I tried 8 different stations at 3 different locations and none of them worked.
3-It's not my CCS charge port. Following multiple failed attempts, I visited a ChargePoint station and had no problem charging there.
4-MISC - Plug & Charge shows active for EA and Tesla in my Ford Pass app. Tesla locations show up in my car under Charge Assist, I received the 24-PO0119-DC-CHG4 OTA update on 3/3/24. The Ford Pass app shows I'm plugged in but not charging. When I plug in, nothing happens. No lights, no sound of the port locking, nothing. I tried using Plug & Charge, I tried to initiate from my phone, from the car, and from the Tesla app. Nothing.
A2Z suggests I take in to Ford (he said he's never seen this before), but I'm out of warranty, and I'm leaving on a 10 road trip on Sunday, so I'm not taking any chances on my dealer, at least not until I get back.
I'm hoping someone might have a solution for me in the next few days. If not, I'm going to have to replan most of my charging on my upcoming trip.
Any chance you could visit a MagicDock SC? I am not 100% convinced it isn’t your Mach-E and adapter combination. You then test both Plug and Charge and the Tesla app using the MagicDock adapter and if they fail I would suspect the Mach-E even though everything looks good.
If one was to work you could then use the A2Z adapter without the MagicDock adapter and see if it works.
Just confirming: you were at a v3/v4 supercharger that is open to NACS? And not, say, a v2 supercharger, or one of the non-NACS v3 locations?
i have the same problem. I resolved mine by trying again and again until I hear it latch and lock. It usually takes two to three tries. I’m not sure why it doesn’t latch on the first try. Good luck
He said a Rivian pulled up and it charged successfully with his adapter, so it’s open to NACS.
To A2Z’s credit there is little play on the NACS side. I had to quickly and forcefully push the NACS connector into the adapter (you must hear the faint snap ate the end) and then I had to close the lock completely. Then I could charge. I got it to work at the Brea Mall. Some of the connects I could not fully engage because they were a little roughed up. Not sure where in the OC you tried.
That’s a great suggestion! Unfortunately the closest one to me is about 400 miles, and I’m not hopeful that any will show up near me any time soon.
The obvious solution was getting a better NACS connection… until it worked on the Rivian.
Record a voice memo to Ford in the car detailing the issue. In the meantime, dealing with potential adapter fit problems will help eliminate the various potential causes, no matter how unlikely. There are various videos covering the fit of the available adapters that might be of some help. Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to mention any of them unless they’re a sponsor of this forum. Cause reasons.
My suspicion is a poor connection. Make certain that the adapter has fully connected at both ends. You should have an audible click and should not be able to pull the cable free of the adapter nor the adapter free of the car.
Too far obviously, when the Rivian worked it would have been great if you left the adapter on and then plugged in to make sure it wasn’t the connection. Need to meet someone at the SC and let them charge then try their adapter.
Good luck, hope you get it sorted out ASAP.
One would assume that with Amine on the line, you properly connected the adapter. That said, since you know your port works, and you know that there is nothing special about using your car at Tesla, it's in how you're connecting the adapter.
I also have the A2Z adapter. I have had issues getting it to be recognized and contacted the company and also have received a replacement which I have not tried yet.
In my case each time I was however able to get it to work after some fussing with it. Make sure the NACS is fully seated. You should hear a snap or thunk when it seats. If you do it is very clear that the latch button is fully locked in. If the latch button is indicating kinda locked it is not and the charger will not initiate. It may take some force to get it to seat.
I am headed out to try the replacement today. I’ll update with my experience.
2 months in using A2Z and no issues, except for some NACS plugs are deformed or dinged up that won't fully seat into the adapter.
After 2 months of continuous use, I no longer have to place the adapter on the ground w/ cloth underneath, having to press my weight into the plug to seat and slide to lock.
Helps to put some silicone spray lube on the slide lock lever and the pin that locks the NACS.
