Hi
My mobile charger is showing solid red light now. i have tried both 240V and 120V plug points. I have reset the circuit breaker multiple times. Unplugged and plugged back in the mobile charger at different points. Feeling my mobile charger has gone bad. Anyone faced same issue? and what steps to take?

Regards
Vikash

If you're still within your 3 year/36k warranty you should be able to take it to your dealer for replacement.

I had mine replaced under warranty. These mobile chargers are only for temporary use, you are better off getting something like charge point or Emporia and hardwire them if possible.

Yes, if it still has the original warranty, they will replace it. If not, time for a new one, but definitely get something different.

My limited experience so far using my Ford supplied mobile cord showing a red light was when I was using 120v plug at my Mom’s house. The current limit was previous set at 48 amps for use on my home Emporia wired charging station. I unplugged it, reset the limit to 20amps and it started charging.

The function of the mobile charger is not related to the setting in the car. It delivers 12A @ 120V regardless of the car setting. What you observed was a coincidence.

Thanks for the clarification my red light was not related to the current setting. That does raise the question in my mind if I ever need to do any adjustments to the current limit through the Ford App.
