I keep thinking about getting one but the fact I'm supposed to get one for free (and need new tires) is stoping me from buying

I felt the same way, … and then, … he fired the whole SC team. I broke down and got the A2Z about a month and a half ago. I figured that July date wasn’t going to hold up. I did just get tires too (USAA has a big discount on the Goodyears if you’re looking at those.)

It's the lack of communication. We're excited for it. I'm not pissed. Just disappointed.

Actually, he fired the whole Charging Team, not just SC but home/destination chargers, too!

Went to go check my order status.

My June delivery which was July when I last checked a week ago, has now been moved to September.

More annoyed that Ford didn't send an email letting me know.

The only thing you know is it won't be September for most. They just changed all to September and figure they have 2 months before they have to tell everyone they were just kidding.

Me too on June -> September without notice. And, ironically, I just received an email from Ford titled "Reimagine your summer road trip with an EV" that, again, advertises this adapter. Deep sigh.

Fortunately, I just want this as an extreme backup plan. I don't actually want to give any of my money to Musk if I can help it and I don't know of any NACS stations are aren't his.

Yep same. Order 6633. Just a little sad Feb 29 order to Sept delivery is pretty nuts when ordered in the first couple hours. Also, this pushes delivery right into a move timeframe so who knows if I’ll be able to get the correct address for delivery or if it’ll get sent to an old house to be lost forever.

How is it even possible that this is taking so long? It is not like Ford is selling a million EV's a year. How many of these things do they need to produce? Do they have one guy making these things by hand in Timbuktoo? Perhaps that same guy builds them and delivers each one personally via bicycle.
