Ironically that week I will be driving electric for 1400 miles and then getting on a ship. Well, at least that is the plan!

Great, I sit around for weeks with nothing specific to do (that's being retired folks, haha) and what happens, that day, Oct 2, there is the Drive Electric Week event in Upper Saddle River, NJ that I would have gone to....it is also the day my class from HS is having a luncheon in place of a full reunion that was cancelled last year due to covid......the reunion is 55+1, from Cliffside Park HS, NJ.....

if it was a regular dinner reunion I could do both. oh well.......

ps......it is my wife's reunion too, so no dropping the reunion, haha.....

My bad just mapped it and it is exactly 100 miles (160 km) away. All the better as I can tell people I can drive here and back and will not need a charge. Or there is a 200 KW charger close by the site. I have never tried over 50 KW so maybe that is a plan? No Mustangs registered to date (duh) and I have initiated contacting the organizer and put in a feeler. Lets see how it goes.

Nothing within battery range of me in my Fusion. ? Tiny battery syndrome here. I have gone to a few events with the Fusion, so someone will probably create an event closer to me.

So far I have the only Mach E registered for this event. This will give me and my Wife another chance to compare our car to the Tesla Model Y. No regrets so far for choosing the MME over the Tesla MY!!

See Ford... you not delivering my GT is keeping me from spreading the word. Poolsville MD and Martinsburg WV are both easy for me to get to. Your move Ford. (even though I know I won't have my car by either date)
