Navigation Question

Dumb question, but how do I get the navigation ui to show road names? I almost got lost on the way home from the dealer because it was trying to take me an unfamiliar way and I couldn't figure out where to turn or which route to switch to to get onto familiar roads since I couldn't see road names.

If this is infotainment 101, I apologize, my previous car was a 2006 Ford Fusion with an analog clock. I'm pretty tech savvy, but this is still something new to get used to.

It should show the names on your screen, especially if you have a destination programmed. It has been so long since I have been through the menus....
Check and see if there is a setting for auto zoom, that may help. When driving at higher speeds, it only shows the major roads. Then when you slow down it zooms in to show the names of the smaller side streets.
