my problem/issue - After owning my Mach E for a year, I have never received an OTA update. It’s a 2022 AWD Ext range, connected to home WiFi when parked on the drive.

I have been in and out of my local dealership with recalls (so maybe updates are done then?).

my main concern is I have no option to enable BlueCruise. I believe I have the hardware from my research because I have those IR sensors above the steering wheel.

many owners seem to get OTA every month or so, I’ve not had a single one which I find confusing.

My Sync version is 25259, revision 2117 (this has just been at the dealer for a camera recall).

If you have the BlueCruise hardware, step 2 is to have an active subscription to BlueCruise (via the Ford app), then you can enable/disable via Sync.

I don’t know if this is true…

‘’but I live in an area with bad or limited 4G cell connection”
I have only ever gotten notice of an update when I drive to an area with good coverage. At that point I get the notice, say do it later and then it updates over night.

So is the signal for an update only delivered via cell Service? And then downloaded over wifi?

WiFi in the garage is excellent.

There’s no option on the connected services part of the app to subscribe.. it only has Premium Connectivity

The car WiFi settings say the connection strength is strong.

I drive around towns frequently for work and my signal at home is fine

Can you see Blue Cruise in the connected services? I recently received an update for BC1.1E but i don’t see BC in my connected services. My car also has the hardware to support BC. (MY 2021)

Exactly the same thing happens to me with the same version. I never receive anything only if it goes to the dealership.
