Never saw this flag on dashboard before

I’ve had the car 2 years and never saw this before. The flag and 0 miles?? Any suggestions? I did let my husband drive the car recently. Only have 8100 milled

He has nav on with destination markers

It means "The race will start soon" Isn't it obvious.

If it were green maybe - it means the race just ended!

I thought that was just for the native navigation, but I believe it is also when using Apple Maps. I was a little surprised by this the other day as I usually use WAZE.

... or, it's a checkered flag .... and since Ford means First On Race Day ... maybe your husband won a stop light grand prix or had the car out on a track day outing ...

then again, he has alerted you to a very handy feature of the NAV system at least in Apple Maps, which I use regularly:

This is handy, especially if you’re on a road trip because it will let you know your distance to arrival and your battery percentage level when you arrive I find this very handy to know ?

I’ve never used the built in navigation but that seems like a logical symbol for how many miles till you reach your destination.

I believe it is how many miles until the next charge.

I use the Nave for almost every trip (real estate photographer) and before they moved the spedo to the right the flag would place its self at the point where the battery would be consumed on the fuel gauge. I really liked that Feature but being it is a Feature Ford is doing away with them. No Features For YOU!

Enter a destination (any where), hit hi absurd cleaner. It’s a glitch that happens from time to time.

I had this after a recent update. Never happened before. Forum advice says to set a destination on google maps and then cancel. It worked and it cleared the flag icon. This is separate issue from the occasional auto generated new destination that I didn’t ask for.
