Yes that's true as well...20x9 vs stockers. A little less weight but surely more turbulence and drag with them pushed out further as well as a less aerodynamic design.

Actually, it is surprising you are only seeing a 5% hit. The rims alone could hit your highway range by 5%. That's good!

I just put a set of the Continental Control Contact Sport SRS+ on my '22 GTPE. I got 20k out of the original set. Had a blowout on the highway while on a roadtrip back home. I directed Roadside Assistance to take me and the car to a nearby Discount Tire in Tallahassee where they had four tires waiting. Was back on the road 4 hours later. Was impressed with the quieter ride the tires give. I hope they last longer than the 20k the original ones did.
