Yes many use summer and winter tires and rims. In Colorado it is a necessity . To each their own. Beyond the wear and safe driving issues my performance summer tires on my AMG were slick and scary in cold rainy and snowy conditions.

And now perhaps our 2023s GTPE’s are the last GTPE iteration. Market changes and the 2024 Rally car is the new direction. I enjoyed the focus RS and that was certainly a rally “car” .
i can hope as reported the Rally MME with offer a different “map” for performance improvement.s. And yes it is not a simple engine management map but a suite of software updates. And it is not a five second rule but comprehensive changes - perhaps unique to the GTPE.
i await news and perhaps a new software update. And curious if a new performance software update for my GTPE will be a paid service or up charge as other manufacturers often follow that model .

At least in the US, the GT is going to be much closer to what the GT-PE was. There is still a “Performance” option that we do not know what is in, but the 2024 GT is at the very least getting the bigger front brakes and the Magneride suspension. ??

Ok one month and 2000 miles . Forum assistance, constant reviews of owners manual and even the free ford training call and I think no new car surprises . Solid fun car, good in snow and even heavy winds. Blue Cruise worked surprisingly well in recent 90 mph cross winds!
Happy with purchase and the car. PPF and ceramic coat . And little learnings will continue- turn car off it goes into park automatically:)

You can enable the car's internal wi-fi via the FordPass app. Under Features and Settings - Wi-Fi Hotspot. I did this yesterday, discovering it 3 weeks into my ownership. It takes you to AT&T to activate it for 3 GB or 3 months whichever comes first.

I don't know why I would really want it as I have a mobile phone with data. Watching YouTube in the car when away from home wi-fi? Phone battery dies and you need to use WhatsApp to make a call?

1800 miles - believe I have a 90% understanding and really enjoy this car as our first EV. We will exploit the ford free vehicle training again for navigation and remote charging tips . Soon summer tires and rims and more extended canyon driving !

So a tire update . The Pzeros and many 50 series tires can easily damage sidewalks. I needed to replace. 2k tire due to bobble on sidewall. If you can get an inexpensive tire damage warranty…… to defray $$ tire replacements :) we learn as we go …

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by damage to the sidewalls?

Evidently a pot hole - a severe bump- can cause tire damage on these soft 50 series sidewalks. And a blister / bubble on the side wall can not be driven very far ….

I noticed a comment on page one, about 'cleaning the brakes'. Is this compulsory? If we're using the analogy of 'just drive the car', not sure one would know that this is needed. And, if it is, how often, etcetera?

I've never used one pedal braking and I just drive it like a normal car, brakes look brand new one year on. You shouldn't have to do anything, tho keeping in mind that the motors do a lot of the braking for stops. I do think using 1 pedal could cause a problem with brake corrosion because the brakes are never used. Hasn't been an issue as I tried one pedal and just didnt like it.

Not to derail the thread, but, I have only tried one pedal drive a few times. I wasn't fond of it, and thus simply do not use it...

I rarely use one pedal. Multiple threads have discussed rusty or binding or squeaky brakes . I just try and remember to turn to neutral and use brakes to stop occasionally.
