New Illinois I-Pass Sticke

Has anyone placed the New IL I-Pass sticker in their Mach E? I had my transponder in the black dots at the top
of the windshield to the right of the rear view window. The I-Pass instructions mention locating the sticker 6” from any electronics but under the rear view mirror. Once it’s placed you can’t move it so I’d like to get it right the first time. Anyone had success with this?

Ignore the instructions that come with it and put it in the same black dot area where your transponder was. That's the only place that works on the Mach-E.

Wherever your transponder works the sticker will work. But you could put the sticker in places with a bit of masking tape right now and see if it works and then if it does then stick it for good.

I did tape it up first and went through some toll gates but couldn’t determine if it registered. It was not in the dotted area. I keep checking the I-pass app and the tolls did not post.

I followed the I-Pass instructions, and of course, it didn't work. I had to order a new one, and once it was in the black, it has never missed a toll.
