Awaiting delivery, I read to the nadir of this forum as an outlet for the anxiety. I lowered my expectations after digesting numerous complaint threads.

After 4 days all I have to say is

No one's gonna come on here to tell us what a great weekend they had (with the exception of some trip logs)

A lot of us are IT engineers who are dealing with model year 1 of an electric vehicle, and trying to debug, or upgrade a lot ourselves.

Also winter did not help with the mileage threads.

If you have a dealer with a competent EV tech, don't get screwed into Platinum Guard or some rubbish aftermarket etching you should be good.

Also, had a great weekend, then someone put a dent in the side and my world fell apart. As much as we can hate on these, we love em.

I have a ‘21 Premium AWD ER and can honestly say no complaints.

Learning curve of the service guys is a pain, especially for all the IT engineers who could do the job better than Ford (for you serious engineers - just teasing, actually no, some of you have been doing a great job).
In general, even while waiting for latest upgrades, it still gets me where I need to go with a smile and I haven't mortgaged the house to keep some oil baron in business.
You will have plenty of fun.

I also came straight from a GTI a couple weeks ago. That car was amazing, but I can honestly say I don’t regret trading for my Mach-E. Congrats and enjoy the ride!

Waited two years to change my order twice couldn't connect with anybody got the dealer involved finally got a hold of somebody. Ford is operating like the characters from the movie Glengarry Glen Ross.
