Yes because the Lane Assist must be enable after every start on all new cars sold since late 2022Wake up babe! Another ugly dashboard thread.
EU cars have had this dash like forever as I can remember..??
Lane Assist stays enabled in the US. Must be a European thing.Yes because the Lane Assist must be enable after every start on all new cars sold since late 2022
My words were not 100% clearLane Assist stays enabled in the US. Must be a European thing.
Got it. That's still not a thing in the US (yet). My words were not 100% clear
By law in EU, lane assist must be ON every time you start the car
BUT you can manually disable it
BUT if you stop/start the car, the lane assist will be re-enabled
The disabled state does not persist after a power-cycle ...
Yup. Some people do.but in the US you already have updates 6.8.0 and later
Sorry to revive this thread, but my 6.8.0 (labeled as the frunk ajar update) has also failed 3 or 4 times now. Seems to be something on Ford's end, because it's not the usual "maybe your 12v battery was too low" message. Just says we'll try again soon.Classic, another 6.8.0 hate thread. There is still one up on the front News page!!! Anyway, 6.8.0 says it failed as message in my FP App. Funny though, never saw the failure message on the Sync screen. I'm normally pushing hard to get updates; but with the odometer smush, I'm just sitting back and waiting.
I prefer it this way......Wake up babe! Another ugly dashboard thread.

If it says they will try again soon, then the OTA most likely failed failed. Either the OTA trigger expired, the update was canceled/recalled by the mothership, or it failed to due to some kind of software mismatch or other issue.Sorry to revive this thread, but my 6.8.0 (labeled as the frunk ajar update) has also failed 3 or 4 times now.
