When I get failures it’s because my 12V is too low.

I take it for about a 30 minute drive and manually start the download when I get home.

This has worked for me every time I’ve had failures.

I don’t know how often you drive but I’m retired and don’t drive much or often anymore.
Its driven 30 mins in the AM and 30 mins in the PM every day. I think that would be enough but maybe not. The two 6.8 failures occurred while the car was being driven which leads me to believe it is some other problem.

I'll put it on the charger this weekend regardless just in case the 12v is the issue.

Got 6.3.0 today after receiving 6.2.1 yesterday. Two days in a row, new record. Almost makes up for nothing since October 1st.

I’ve been experiencing the same thing this week. Three “failed 6.8.0 updates” often a few minutes after a trip (as shown in FordPass app). I am also unable to manually update it (which is a first for me)… 12V is always around 85-90%. I’ve also tried leaving it plugged in at 120V, to no avail.

third 6.8 failure happened today... I am suspecting a server side problem.

Worked for me first time a few days ago. It might just be your car.

Just got 23-PU0907-RAD-ON. Nice to have AM Radio. I didn't think that was possible!

Fails on mine too.
Mine too. It seems more like a failure to download. Which would give some credence to the server issue theory. Assuming this version of 6.8 is an inhibit update. My car gives me the failure message at the wrong time if that's the case. With the different update notes we've seen it's hard to say exactly what the deal is. We certainly know that Ford does not respect the normal version numbering protocol. ??

I’m a ‘21 job 1 FE, in EA, and recd 6.8 in December right before the long pause. FordPass app still says I’m at 6.7 but car says 6.8. No movement since late December.
I am the same as you job 1 I am at 6.8 back on Dec 13th. My questions is I have a working frunk button now the Ford pass app shows it the but the Ford screen inside the car still does not show it. Any idea how to get it on the screen on the car?

We just got the AM radio update, but now we're getting a TPM failure on our rear left tire. The tire is fine, but it went away after powering down the car for about 20 min, it then returned after driving for about 15 min.

Well I've never been prompted like an inhibit update. So yeah, if it is one, then it isn't getting that far.

The TPMS sensors have a battery in them. Normally they make about 100,000 miles. They also have a centrifugal switch that turns them on when the car gets rolling. Saves the batteries. Normally, the TPS receiver is mounted as close to the center of the bottom of the car to make it easy to receive the radio signals. But with our battery packs, I'm not sure where they put it.
