Fourth unsuccessful update to 6.8 in one week. This last time I turned off Automatic Updates. The car prompted me to allow the download, which I did, it then rendered another "Update Unsuccessful" notice without prompting to initiate an install (assuming it is an inhibit as seems to be the case). Have driven the car plenty and let it run for three hours in the garage as well.
Appears to be a (negative) trend given posts by at least five other members. Any insiders or superusers have any insights?

Still on 6.7 but it sounds fortunate that it hasn't offered up the busted 6.8 update.

Looks like it's fairly widespread. I've got the same 6.8.0 update unsuccessful problem as the rest of you (3 times now).
This is different from the typical failure; it does seem to be server related. I'm sure it'll get resolved on their end.

Has anyone tried to discover a common thread linking all the cars with 6.8.0 failures? Mine installed the first time with no issues. Is it a specific build window/year that's having these issues? I have not taken the time to try and figure out a connection but rather was wondering if someone else had.

I finally got 6.7 today, and the frunk will now open with the keypad on the door. I still have not gotten the Charge Assist app.

I think thar might be because your car (and others) got the go ahead to get 6.8, but didn't compete the update before a file or files were removed... so my wild guess is that it will keep happening until either the file us updated/fixed and returned, or until they send a different update that tells your car to stop trying to do the update..

I assume the update faucet is shut off again or down to a trickle? Got 6.3 and 6.4. Expected 6.6 and 6.7 to come as I have powertrain modules and a GFM in my list.

Same here. Got 6.6 on 12/15 and nothing since.

I used to be anxious to receive these updates, but now I hope I don't get any more till they work out these delivery bugs. I get the feeling that they just don't know how to get it right.
