Hope someone has a helpful idea... While I've had the 12V battery fault for 3+ months, with a 12V battery on backorder that will never come, in the past 2 weeks my AUDIO SYSTEM WON'T MAKE A SOUND other than the aggressive door dings if a door is open. No audio from FM, AM, Bluetooth, CarPlay, nothing. When I turn the volume knob, the Volume overlay and numerical volume level do not show onscreen anymore. The center touchscreen still works for all car controls, and Bluetooth and CarPlay do connect to the phone, but then no audio, ever.
The dealer thinks (guesses?) that the 12V battery fault is causing the system to save power on lower priority systems like the sound system, but I'm not sure. I went probably 60-75 days with both the battery fault and the sound system working normally, and now at least 14 days with no sound. Getting very frustrated. Any idea about a specific reset or maintenance step that could be done?
