Ok guys and gals I posted the other day about the NonGT grill that BSKT Design has created. The 1st response I received was that I really pissed someone off for putting a Grill on a Non GT Mach e. My response to that was wrong and I want to apologize to the forum. The wrong response by me was to get defensive and comment back.

I purchased this Grill not to look like a GT or pretend to be one. I’ve been personalizing my cars since my 1st car….way back in 1993. Had many cars over the years and my main focus has been customizing the look of the vehicle, making it my own. Speed is nice and you definitely need some but I want it to look good. What I think looks good you may not feel the same about and that’s ok. So that brings me to the Non GT grill which of course is for the premium and select Mach e’s.

Miguel who many of you dealt with when he was on this forum has asked me to let everyone know that the Non GT grill has finally and I mean finally been finished. It took way too long I’m with you on that. But it is done and he knows a lot of the forum members that don’t have a GT were looking forward to this. So I’m posting to give you guys the information about it. I have no affiliation with BSKT and payed for everything I got from them like everyone else. And I also want to add that when Miguel disappeared from the forum I was upset just like many of you who ordered stuff from him. I had ordered this grill and some other carbon fiber parts as a package. And I prepaid for everything,so I was really worried and wondering what was going on. But I’m happy to say I received everything and extremely pleased with everything I ordered. I’ve had I chance to chat with Miguel and Bruce Lan the owner of the company. They both are stand up guys! And you will get a real quality product you are very happy with. Many members on here have dealt with them and are just as happy. Mark Boris who many of you know, he is a customer of BSKT Design and also helps out with the lighted pony. I’m sure he will vouch for the team at BSKT. Anyway let me get to the point of this long post.

BSKT has 250 original color Non GT grills ready and will ship within the next 2 weeks. They look exactly like the GT grills in color and 3D effect. They also can custom paint them to look exactly like the bronze package grills that ford makes. And if you want something really unique Miguel told me they can custom paint them in body color with the 3D effect. The price is $499 for the GT original color and $50 more for custom paint color including the Bronze one. Miguel also gave me 10 discount vouchers for people who are really interested in the NON GT grill and ready to purchase. Like I said they are ready and will ship within the next 2 weeks. The vouchers are for a $100 discount at checkout on the BSKT Design website. I have the 1st one to test it out and give feedback. I will post some pictures of the one I have. Again they have 250 of these in stock ready to ship. If you want a custom painted one in bronze or the body color will take a little longer because they are made to order. Just DM me and the 1st 10 people that are ready to purchase I’ll give the voucher code to use at checkout. Just let me know you are interested.

You don’t have to apologize for someone because you installed a GT grill on a premium. You should tell that idiot to go pound sand.

I generally don’t like mods to cars, but this thing looks great!

You may want to become a forum sponsor if you plan on posting things for sale, discount coupons, asking people to PM you to purchase etc because it doesn’t really sound like you have ā€œno affiliation with Miguel.ā€ šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Even looking at your post history, every single post is about BSKT designs and you told us the CEO is named ā€œBruce Lan.ā€ Seems more than just a coincidence.

Grill does look good though.

Jeff, that grill looks really good! Like most things, probably looks better in person. 😊

And yes I can vouch for Miguel and Bruce. Miguel and I are texting almost on a daily basis because I help them with the shipping, in the US only, of their front and rear lighted ponies (they have sold several hundred just this year). Bruce and I talk about new products and I've helped him by supplying parts here from the US to test fit plus photos with dimensions of parts I can't ship. They have some great ideas for products but with unforeseen issues along the way during manufacturing, it can take quite a bit longer than they planned (not to mention they are an extremely small company). That might not look good for them but in the end they do take care of their customers.

I've been very happy with everything I have purchased from them which has only been interior items. My forged carbon fiber in satin finish door, dash and steering wheel trims look really classy (to me anyway). I have a one of a kind console trim also in forged carbon fiber. My leather and Alcantara steering wheel, center air bag cover and console armrest also make the interior look a bit more upscale. I get a lot of complements on the look of my interior all the time.

As a side note, just under 10% of their sales is from this forum and that is why they are no longer on here or a sponsor. Most Mach-E owners are not at all like ICE Mustang owners that heavily customize their cars and have no problem spending a lot of money doing so. My friend Terrance with Signature Wheels (fully forged aluminum) was a sponsor on this forum right after it started. I helped him with the fitment of their wheels for the Mach-E but in the end that only lasted about a year. I have 5 sets of their wheels for the 3 Mach-E's I've owned and know of two other members that have them and that is all. However on the ICE Mustang forum he has a huge presence and has sold over 750 sets. Kevin from 5SPURS (no longer a sponsor here) is another friend I've helped out with his custom accessories. He is the owner and is in the UK. Back in 2020 I helped him design the covers for the gear shift, radio and headlamp dials for the GT500. He has sold hundreds of sets of these for the GT500 and other ICE Mustangs. They are extreme high quality aircraft aluminum anodized in beautiful satin colors. When the Mach-E came out we worked on getting them designed for this car too. Issue was very few here purchased them (around 50 to date) because of their high cost. AOSK came out with the same type of item at a much lower cost but they are not of the same materials or quality. To me, it seems like most Mach-E owners don't like spending money on aftermarket accessories nearly as much as ICE Mustang owners do.

So are there really two different Bruce’s?

Not questioning the quality of the product, seems like they make good stuff. And I trust your judgement with that.

This just reads like it’s really someone who is affiliated with the company. Even the initial responses (getting angry and yelling at negative responses then apologizing afterwards) sound suuuuuper familiar. 😜

Only one. Bruce Lan is the owner. Why did you think there were two?

I love it. Don't know why someone would be outraged at putting a fake grill on a non-GT (especially since the GT has a fake grill anyway). Do whatever you want with your car.

Sadly, my car is Dark Matter Gray and I think a change like this would barely be noticeable in that color. It's a great color, but doesn't benefit from a contrasting grill (or the black pieces along the roof and floor lines meant to make it look more car-like). Live and learn, I guess.

My post was really long and not the greatest. But they are making the grills in other colors. A bronze one that will look identical to the one ford makes. And you can get one in star white because they are also making body color ones with the 3D effect.

Thank you Mark for the reply and helping the guys out at BSKT. Like you I really appreciate what they are doing and want them to continue to make innovative stuff for our cars. I am benefitting not at all from people buying these grills or not buying them. Just trying to help people out that really want one.

I'm in the minority who doesn't like the GT grill and prefers the look of the Premium/Select front end. But I'll never understand why anyone would criticize you for "putting a GT grill on a non-GT." A person who is that bothered by it is in for a hard time because even Ford is now doing it with the "Sport Appearance Package."

Is this actually a grille (3d) or is it just a decal that looks like a grille?
