Not changing and red light on charging indicator

Hi All

Need advice while charging i am hearing a sound on the charger and changing from blue color to yellow blue red and the car charging indicator to red please advise

Your charger is likely bad, many posts on this.

Unplug charger from car, then wall. Plug it back into wall. If light is blue, plug it in to car. If not, look up lights in manual.

Unplug from wall and car. For 1 min. Unplug and reset plug into top of charger and make sure it’s seated all the way during this time. Then plug back into wall charger should be blue if blue plug into car. If charger has red color. Don’t use and take to dealer or get a better charger , the ford charger is a POS.

Wallbox Pulsar Plus Lv 2 EV Smart Charger - 40 Amp NEMA, 25’ Cable. hope this will resolve the issue.

I have a Wall Box it it has been telling me that it lost Bluetooth connection and can't charge the car. Meantime it is charging the car. Condo administrator of our system discovered that he had to reset the chargers. Also that if they do an update it often will require an administrator reset. grrrrrr.

Other problem is that my charger seems to not be able to reset to charge to 100%, the Ford Pass shows a big or little spinning circle, and does not seem to be connecting. What is it suppose to connect to?

A “real” L2 charger is a must for most EVs.

As mentioned previously your EVSE is most likely bad. I would also suggest inspecting your 240V outlet for damage. Also do you have the ability to test your L2 charging at a public charger to verify it still works elsewhere?

My ford charger lost Bluetooth connection about 2 months ago. I called Ford and they said they are looking at it. I have called numerous times. No resolution. Fortunately still charges the car. Just a dumb charger now. Makes me mad I paid $800 for it. .
