I got the SVS last night. Driving home doing about 70, minding my own business and bam, got the message. I'll call the dealer this morning and find out as to when they can fix it. Fingers crossed.

I had planned on trading it this Friday for a Genesis GV60.

Guess I have to wait.

Update:

Called the dealer today. They have the part in hand. Looks like it'll be done by Friday. I'm happy with this dealer. They were good to work with with when I bought it and they've been good with the service. Ford customer service helped with expediting the part. so, other than losing my car for a while, I'm not to upset.

I got mad/worried when everybody was experiencing this issue, not knowing what to expect. I feel I'm one of the lucky ones (assuming I do get back when they say it's finished).

Ask if they can read the codes now to verify the issue and order parts.

I asked them that and they said they were to backed up. I read the codes this morning and offered what was wrong but it didn't matter. The earliest they could see it was the 27th.

What the contact info for Ford to start a case?

The BEV team can help them ensure they get the right diagnosis and help expedite the parts, but they can't overcome the dealer's schedule and backlog. You'll just have to be patient and wait.

Out of curiosity, why are you changing out to the Genesis? Seems like after getting your HVBJB replaced, you'll be rock solid.

That's all I really want, expedite the diagnosis. Seem foolish to wait 9 days just to agreed with me and then order the part.

As far as the Genesis -
I really like the Mach E. It's fun and fast. That being said, my commute is long and on one of Delaware's roughest roads. I just want something fast AND comfortable. It's ride is just not that great.

There is but.... It's the dealer that another poster said sold him his car with a recall hold on it and then showed up at this door wanting to take it. :)

I've got a case open with Ford. Let's see where it goes.
