Interested in using an OBDII Scanner to track my Mach E battery's status. Any recommendations, or will almost any scanner do the Job ? Thanks

If you're just looking to read battery info any will do. This is my favorite for reading because small and wireless:

If you want to change any settings though you'll need something like this one:
Forscan: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B094Z7PBLS

Can't do any FDRS updates with either of those though. You'll need a 500+ adapter for FDRS updates:

what is the best phone app for Forscan? I am new at this and I ma using FORScan Viewer, but alll I get is text status... I think others have a better interface

Does the Basic device monitor the 12v battery as well as the HVB?

If you are trying to edit your car’s settings you need a Windows PC and the Windows version of FORscan. The phone version cannot edit your car’s parameters. ??

I prefer Torque over Car Scanner, but both do very similar things.
