There have been a few times I've stated to get into my wife's MME with my key fob and the seat was in her position. too tight for me. I never correlated it with an update or the position of her key fob just had to hit the #2 on the door before I could get in. And it hasn't happened the last 5 or 10 times I've unlocked and gotten in. ??
Hah, a fellow Moke owner. Bought mine new in 1965 and still have it.

It is what it is, kind of like the kick-to-open rear hatch. It’s a little game the car plays with you and you can almost hear it laughing. But, seriously, I have no solution. I just push the button.

I am just glad my husband and I have similar heights and seat settings. They no longer are identical based on car (back when our old cars didn't have seat setting memory), but still close enough that neither gets crushed. I think I see it more when I use remote start, but wish it would default to me all the time, if it's not sure, since I usually am the one driving my Mach-E.

If you are the only driver, you can adjust all 3 memories to the same location and see if that helps.

Our 2022 has that same problem about 75% of the time. I have never been able to fix it so we just push the button.

LOL, likely to be my approach. So far love the car otherwise.

Hi We've had a 23 Mach E GT for about 6 months. So far it has been great. Here is a minor issue. My wife and I switch off driving the car (dogs go to a few days daycare but in jeep not EV.) We supposedly have it programmed to recognize the key and adjust the seats accordingly. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. It may be my impression alone, but almost never after a OTA update. Again, it's not a big deal to push the button, but it is maddening.

TIA, Steve
We have a 23 Mach E too and that issue coupled with other small things, like the mirrors not folding or the truck not lifting automatically generally starts after an update... annoying but a little effort can fix it. This morning I posted about the latest update on Friday and the worst that can happen to any electric car - it wouldn't charge at home.. please read.

22 Premium, this happens to me as well... only the seat/mirror setting not the driving profile. So I have to hit the button on the door. It is worse immediately when my wife has driven the car (I drive it 75% of the time). We have separate key fobs and also have PaaK. Note this happens even as her phone or PaaK are out of sight.

Seems to me that it's an issue with the recent updates, walking away it doesn't auto lock / fold mirrors. And pressing the fob doesn't always lock the doors... have to sometimes go up to the door and press the lock button. :(

This is not a solution, but if you have the seat memory buttons assigned, you can press them to switch profiles quickly.

My ‘21 Select started doing that after an OTA update several months ago. Since my wife doesn’t drive it very often, I just removed her profile so it stays on my setting. She sets the seats by pushing the button on the door. I sent a voicemail message to Ford about it, but haven’t heard anything back from them.
My 23 select does not have this feature. It only remembers the difference between the strings on the screen.

By any chance is the non driver’s key fob normally within Bluetooth range of where you park the car?
In my case it's happened when my wife is miles away and other times when she's with me.
