Hi all,

I done a search or two & couldn’t find anything on this specific problem.

‘23 Select AWD. Firmware 4.1.1.

Speed Sign Recognition doesn’t come up as an option in Sync 4.

While using Blue Cruise, I’m always re-adjusting the speed since it keeps clocking oncoming signs (which is what it’s made for).

I found something interesting…when I hit the drop down menu for “Adaptive Cruise Control” in Sync 4, for less than a second, “Speed Sign Recognition” comes up then disappears. I tried quickly selecting it, but nothing seems to happen.

I done a soft reset with the volume & forward seek buttons, but it didn’t make a difference.

I shot a video in slow-mo (240fps) to show off this phenomena, check it out below.

Anyone experience this before? Will a trip to the dealer fix this?

Glitch in the Matrix. Possibly 4.1.2 will resolve. Other hard reboot option of pulling the 12v battery for a few min. Module might need to be reset?

Since your car has BlueCruise 1.2, it’s now called “predictive speed assist.” Set the amount over the limit under “tolerance”

Used to have that problem before 4.1.2, went away with the latest update!

Mine gets into trouble on freeways/parallel access roads where it uses signs on both for input. It's particularly bad for me since I often use the access roads instead of the freeway for local driving. Accelerating from 50 towards 80 when your not expecting it really gets your attention!

Yeah I keep it off for this reason. My commute is a highway with 45mph frontage roads.
