That's a really promising outline shape! And I know the Mustang guys might not like it but having Mustang-like headlights and taillights should instantly give the Mach E a recognizable look, which should help sales right off the bat IMO.

Idk but the media portion of the LA Auto Show begins the next day on the 18th, and then the show is open to the public on the 22nd.

I hope the Mach E will be there for the public to touch on the 22nd, as I’ll be there with an early bird pass at 8 am.

Yea and that's a 2015 silhouette you used. The 2018+ mustang boomerang lights look even more similar to what they are previewing for the Mach E.

The sloping roofline looks great.

I was hoping for more of a Porsche roofline than a wagon, but it’s hard to tell. Here’s a quick, inelegant take at what I was hoping for:

Ya that looks really sleek but look at how much headroom you'd lose compared to the actual Mach E roofline.

I like the little spoiler overhang pictured in the official teaser, hope it extends out pretty aggressively on the real thing.

I've been tracking this for months and am super excited it will finally be revealed.

I leased a Honda Clarity PHEV last year to learn about the EV tech. Even with only 45-50 miles of range, I rarely use gas for my daily commute. Often drive over 1,000 miles before I need to fill the 7.5 gallon tank. Makes me very confident to get a full EV with ~300 mile range (though it will be interesting to see how winter weather affects the range).

Then my Mustang can be a garage queen and last me for many, many years to come for weekend cruising.

That'll be a nice looking garage... Mustang + Mustang inspired looking EV. I wonder what the rest of the Mustang community thinks about lending their car's looks to an EV... annoyed or proud?

My e-Golf can do about 120mi only currently so I'm looking forward to more than doubling that range.

It's a mixed bag...most are annoyed though. Of course, they were the same ones annoyed at the Ecoboost Mustang which is the one I have.

Here's a new image

Nice find. This version has more details and is more 3D. The rear shoulder line looks very strong and prominent on the Mach E. Hopefully it's as strong as the rendering based on the CAD images.

The strong shoulder like that breaks up the slab sided look that some SUV's suffer from.
