I am thinking something on the x
cars had to be fixed. The cars that were already produced and had a sticker needed a new sticker to indicate that the fix was done hence the new date. So not all the cars have new stickers or dates but once all are fixed theyll have either new stickers or be produced with the fix.

Beyond the recently seen changes, does this mean the date that the sticker was generated? I was under the impression that mine was created on Friday, which meant that the car build process was going to start the following Monday.

The date at the very bottom margin is the date you downloaded it from the server. Print date if you prefer....

Interesting. I have the same invoice date of 11/18, but my revised date on the bottom of the sticker is 11/30 (it was 11/23). Car was produced on 11/28.

I just tested my theory and it appears with a 12-02-20 date in that spot. Maybe the global file is updated once a week so that could be why that date changes. ???

I would imagine you were correct, that would be the date accessed. Could try clearing you cache and see if that does anything. Otherwise, it could be when it was downloaded to the server.

OKTB will not be like opening the floodgates, for all the obvious reasons.

In addition, despite the best conjecture here, build date slippage is not directly related to the plant's basic ability to manufacture vehicles, or to order cancellations, or to who reserved their vehicle first, but there is relation to COVID gating inbound materials. For example, if the plant can't get a part unique to a particular First Edition/Premium/Rt1/Select, I don't care if it was ordered in 2018 by your favorite deity. The reality is it just isn't going to get scheduled for build until that component can be secured.

Thanks for that insight Ron. I think many of are seriously underestimating the profound impact SARS-COV-2 is having on our world. It’s not just the annoyance of wearing a mask, or not going to a movie. It’s into every nook and cranny in the economy and our world.

We’re not giving enough credit to how well Ford has done just to get to this point and we’re ignoring the very real dangers the virus is posing to every business. Personally, I have no doubt my build will slip by more than a bit given the current state of the vaccination process.
