1PD worked again when car was restarted for my drive home.Hi,
Just got the 1PD failure after the HVBJB failure repair April 9,2024.
I was in stop/Go traffic when it lit up.
Does it clear after restart, or is it done until a OTA update comes.
Of course my warranty has expired.
Almost at 140,000 km ( 87,000 mi)
I had the HVJB recall done along with another dealer update a couple weeks ago and now have had 1-pedal failure three times. Going back to the shop to see if anything can be done. I wrote it off as an inconvenience at first but then had it fail as I was in stop and go traffic and was suddenly lurching towards the car in front of me. Luckily I had left enough room and was quick on the brake, but easily could have caused a collision.I'd like to know how widespread the problem is.
My car received 23B50 lately, but I haven't noticed anything wrong in 1PD functionality so far.
That will be a good reason to turn 1PD off until the fix is available and applied.had it fail as I was in stop and go traffic and was suddenly lurching towards the car in front of me. Luckily I had left enough room and was quick on the brake, but easily could have caused a collision.
Same. As fun as it is to reboot in the middle of traffic, it's pretty dangerous. Hope Ford can provide a fix for this soonI did the 23S56 - High Voltage Battery Junction Box (HVBJB) Replacement and now 1 pedal goes out at least 4 times a day. I primarily use 1 pedal. It's scary when going downhill on the road, or garage, and it quits. Car speeds up because it's no longer providing breaking. May cause accidents. What I do when I stop is to turn the car off open and close the door ,then turn it back on. 1 pedal comes back immediately.
So after one, I’m supposed to be going down to the dealer and they’re gonna be doing updates on my car, are these updates going to be excluded? Are those updates going to come down automatically or those won’t show up when they go to do the updates today? There are only going to be a handful of vehicles with this issue (<50) because they stopped it relatively quickly and it wasn’t a widespread release.
It was an issue caused by powertrain updates, specifically anyone who had work done at the dealership between 4/26 and 5/5.Has anyone found additional information on this issue from Ford or other sources?
Let us know how you make out. ThxWe’ll see how it works later on today because I’m going down to the Ford dealer and they’re gonna push any updates. I can find out there.
