So I went into the Stealership this morning to pick up second fob. The salesperson who I worked with when buying the car said the second fob have been lost in transit when they bought the vehicle from a Texas dealership. So when I got there at 8AM, I let the service writer know spoke with the salesperson that week and said I could come pick up second fob. I also mentioned I was having trouble with my phone as a key (PAAK) system. A bit later, The service manager came out with both my original fob and my new one, and we discussed the problems with the PAAK, and stated Ford knew about it. This manager said he had two Mach-Es for him and his wife, and they are having difficulties, also. This guy stated he had a certain electronic device in the vehicle reset, and was hoping that this would help solve the problem. When he handed me the two fobs and the invoice, it stated it was charging me for the second fob. When I asked him about this, he stated that Ford only sends one form with each vehicle, because they expect the PAAK APP to be the second key. Original sales person came in (great sale through him, BTW), and un-ficked the manager. I walked out of there with my two fobs, and hopefully some resolution on the PAAK. So never want to be in the car sales business unless i'm an investor!
