NVM I just found the thread by @MachELee
I received a recall notice from Ford about my Battery Charger Control Module not having a transfer function that predicts the charging port pin/terminal temperature.
The notice says that my charge cord may become stuck to my vehicle as a result of this issue or the car may not charge.
It then says that there is an OTA software update to remedy this issue. It goes on to tell you how to set up OTA update schedules so that you can receive this update (and that it will take 120 minutes to do) but it does not give any information on how you can tell if/when this update is complete. I did a quick search on here and no one has talked about it.
The recall notice does say that I can take it to my dealer but then I have to leave it there for at least 1/2 a day (and that is their estimate, not the dealer's). But why would I do that if I'm getting the OTA update soon or might have already received it????
Anyone familiar with this update?
