Yes you can.

But to be fair to the OP, many people buy a new car with a warranty so they DONT have to become technical experts and fix things themselves.

I think many of us have Stockholm Syndrome to the point that we criticize anyone who suggests that the software is buggy and we should expect it to work or Ford to fix it quickly/easily.

We instead accept the workarounds or even take things into our own hands and program the car ourselves through FDRS.

The OPs complaint seems pretty fair honestly. Why should he have to fix it himself? It’s a lease with a warranty. ?‍♂

I find it unique to car forums that individuals find it necessary to tell people they are leaving/selling when it has absolutely no impact on the people they are addressing.
Hey Norm! I love my car. I’m keeping it. Just thought I’d let you know

it's his complaining which is a feature, not a bug with the mach e community. He's been on this forum since 23, more than enough time to look up solutions, instead only time he posts is to complain.

This is the current state of vehicles sadly. I was ready to dump my MME within days of getting it. Instead, I have pushed through and spent probably over 100 hours doing my own to it. Pretty sure if I had anything better to do I would have dumped it like any other reasonable person would.

Outside of a couple of very collectible cars, I cannot think of any car I haven’t disassembled and/or modified at least a minor but significant fraction of. A lot of my cars have had every bolt and nut removed from them at some point. Even the very desirable cars I’ve replaced some of the bolts on because I had prettier ones in my inventory. ??

To be fair the reason was suspension, none of the functional fixes existed that week I got it. So I had to wait like a whole 2 months before being able to rip it apart and cut myself all up.

I think it’s called main character syndrome :)

“Some” vehicles for sure.

Many here signed up to be Beta testers.

But that was a more reasonable expectation in 2021. First model year, first Ford BEV, etc.

But I totally understand people a few years later not expecting to be Beta testers.
