Paak had been working OK lately but I recently got locked out of my house since I didn't have the key fob (and house key) with me. So I started taking the fob again. Flash forward a few weeks and I get in the car without the fob. PAAK doesn't work so I entered the code - no problem. However, after a couple of stops, I could not enter the code anymore. I received the no key detected warning and the screen lit up with the enter the code message. But when I touched the box to bring down the keyboard, it didn't happen. I could not get the keyboard to show up on the screen - so I couldn't enter the code. Is that supposed to happen if the code is repeatedly used to start the car?
I called customer service and got no where and hung up on them after a while accidentally. The alarm kept going off as I pushed buttons and opened/closed the door over and over again to get the car to turn off to try again. Eventually, I had to have my wife bring me the FOB - the very person who lectured me about not having the key when I got locked out a few weeks ago. A rough 20 minutes I must say!
So was this a software meltdown or supposed to happen?
