May have to remove Paak as well. It seems that the rest of FordPass works reasonably well.
Just did the 21B36FSA(I think this is just a Paak software update) I will give it a few more days for Paak to function, if OTAs are unblocked and work now.....
It seems all of the problems are with Paak.
Would be happier if it worked, but tired of fighting it.

Ford has been struggling with her sync product for years. In the car development world ,software is the Last thing their care about. will always go with the cheapest bid. also their Bluetooth is a mess .

Get an extra keyfob. If PAAK ends up working for you again, great! If not, you’re covered. Not worth the aggravation, not worth the worry.

"Bricking" refers to a piece of equipment that is rendered inoperable. If your phone still works and your car runs, there is no bricking involved. It's just a piece of software that is not functioning properly, that's all.

the PAAK is now the BRICk.. Not the phone and not the car... So we are both right.

This phone as a key has been a total mess for me. Got set up at the dealership, although it took three sales associates to do it, and drove off. My phone worked half the time until the call came out to service PAAK software on the car. It worked pretty reliably until the last app update, when my PAAK went dead as a doornail. Still is, a brick as someone else coined it.
The dealer is no help, no one in service can help, and no sales accociate will get off their ass from under the misters for less than $200 to help with a problem caused by an app update, near as I can tell.
The instructions to reset the PAAK seems clear until I try to do it. I can't get past "Activation Pending". Anyone else in this dilemma?
I had little faith in Ford when I bought the car, now I have none. And Ford doen't seem to give a rip! Absolutely no hint of customer service or concern at this point and the dealer can't be bothered. Has anyone heard a peep out of Ford, or are we all nuts?
Very frustrated, if it's not obvious.
Okay, perserverance pays off! After three master resets, I finally got thru the process and have a PAAK once again. Thanks to all who have posted ideas behind their solutions, I appreciate the help!!

Okay, perserverance pays off! After three master resets, I finally got thru the process and have a PAAK once again. Thanks to all who have posted ideas behind their solutions, I appreciate the help!!
wow, ok.. tell me more.. Should I go and master reset (Via the Sync) again? or did you pull the 12v also?

Different company Yes, but both have the same leader... he owns them both.. Tesla and Space-x

I planned ahead and had the extra Fob before I got my MME.

Nothing should be this difficult or troubling from a consumer's point of view.
My only fear is the rest of FordPass is as unreliable. I do not want to pull up to a charger and have FordPass shut me down or prevent communication with charger.

Ford Pass has relatively little to do with charging beyond enabling one payment through the Ford Connect Network.

You can always activate and choose payment via the charging network app if you like.
