Charge scheduling has definitely left the chat for me. It’s not supposed to start charging until 11pm and it decided 4pm was good enough lol. I guess that’s better than not charging. I just refreshed the schedule this morning after the initial issue lol. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I've had similar frustrations and have complained numerous times. Not too long ago, after I complained about several issues, member @E90alex provided good info that helped immensely to correct my misperception of exactly what PaaK is and how it works vs. what Ford app is and how it works. I was blaming all phone-to-car issues on PaaK, and until someone took the time to 'splain it to me, I never understood the 'separation of duties' (so to speak) between PaaK and Ford app. Anyway, here's a link to that thread:

I understand it can still be frustrating. Like when sometimes the Ford app decides to go on vacation without me and all I get is a blank screen. It eventually revives, but still...<sigh>😒 Between Wi-Fi and BT connection issues my patience gets put to the test.
I’ve been using PAAK exclusively for almost 5 years. I’m no stranger the growing pains of PAAK in the beginning but we had a pretty good run up until this one. I had forgotten my backup code because it was working so well for so long lol.
PAAK should have been UWB from the start. Bluetooth is really bad for judging distance and fords bluetooth modules don’t seem to be the best based on how many connection issues come up.

Realized my car just got an update by itself. Now my PAAK is so unreliable that I can’t even open and lock door consistently, let alone the frunk and trunk features. Although the update was this morning, I have already experiencing this glitchy issue on the phone since last week or two.

I received the update last week. Now when the car starts I see a list of all the phones that have been connected to the system in it's life (my kids and wife's). Can't tell if the boot up takes longer, as it has always been slow.....But my PAAK still works perfectly......I phone 10

My FOB is even getting bad. Takes 3 times of pushing the button to get my drivers door open. Going to go pull the 12v and roll the dice as most of my car has been pretty flakey since the TCU update.

Looks like ford decided to bring back some great 2021 bugs.
PAAK has been super unreliable in the last couple months. I’m almost never able to unlock my doors without using the unlock command in the app. I have to use my backup code at least once a week, usually for the entire day.
Today, the vehicle decided it just wasn’t going to charge overnight. Something that use to happen a lot back in the day. It was plugged in properly because it still did the preconditioning just didn’t feel like charging lol.
ford must have someone from Microsoft running their software updates lol.
My pack worked flawlessly for three years then I believe after a iPhone update and stop working.
Now about a month later, after an update on the Mache it works flawlessly again😊

I was recently was experiencing similar issues. Car was showing catastrophic electronic failure of 9 of 11 bluetooth antennas, it was a hard failure in the RFA (PAAK) module. Could see codes using FDRS and FORSCAN, Car Scanner and OBD2 did not show an error.

Dealer discovered that when they turned off bluetooth on my iPhone Air the catastrophic failure reset. Turned it on failure reoccurred.

Apparently the iPhone uses 2 bluetooth connections to the car, one for PAAK type stuff the other to initiate a connection to Car Play. Once Car Play connects to bluetooth it switches to wifi.

Currently I turned off the Car Play on my iPhone Air and no more problems. I really don’t use car play, but if I do will use wired connections.

Really don’t know what a real fix is. I assume it is an iPhone problem.

EDIT: Next time I use FDRS I will turn off bluetooth on my phone…just in case!

Welp, my car didn’t feel like charging last night again 🤦🏻‍♂️. This car is definitely back into the unreliable category once again, especially with that pending recall that will leave you stranded with no park lmao.
