Depends on the statr you’re in. In CA, trade-in value means nothing with regard to taxes. I get to pay the same sales tax on the car regardless of a $50K trade-in or a $50.00 trade-in.

Yeah I thought that was the case in CA. No matter, my dealer didn't want to play ball with market conditions.

My date is still 10/29 to 11/4. My car was roughly a day ahead of you in the journey from KC. So you should be expecting to see yours on a truck in the next day or so.

The dealer last night really told tried to talk us out of the options deal. Saying its not an ideal setup, doesnt make sense kind of thing. We will see today. Fords interest rate is GOD AWFUL.. 5.9 percent with excellent credit. We got a rate from a bank for 2.3 and I think that is the route we will go.

I get yelled at on this forum every time I say that I don't think the Options plan is all that its cracked up to be. I got 2.19 at my bank and already have a check waiting. But don't let them force you into not taking it if that Options deal seems to work out better for you

from the research I've seen, it just doesn't feel right to me. The rate on it is not good compared to a typical lease.

palsapp shows that my MME is on a truck coming in my direction since 4 PM yesterday, but dealer's VVR last entry - loaded on a train October 5th.

Have you gone through the online checkout process? It might be worth trying it just to see what interest it shows on the Options plan. That 5.9 percent sounds like a scam.

Correct. It's only through Ford Credit.

5.9% is a scam. You guys probably spend all you time on tracking and haven't follow the threads on Options. It is still 2.25% for non-GT and 1.7% for GT.

The online check-out is borked right now. Not showing correct rates for anything. I've been in touch with @hybrid2bev and he confirmed they are working on it.
