Is there a way to adjust the distance from the car that you can get the panic button to function? Currently my wife will lose the car in the parking lot, but you almost have to be on top of the car to activate the panic alarm.

She is used to our 2016 Focus that worked from a fair distance from the car, the MME doesn't.

You might want to try a new battery in the fob. Mine works from quite far away.

If that doesn't work, you can also activate the horn and lights from the FordPass app.

If you're lucky you can even open the frunk from there
I'm not nearly that lucky. But even if I was, the frunk button in FordPass requires you to be within Bluetooth range. The Horn & Lights button doesn't.

Ok I will try that, but it seems both FOBS work that way.
The batteries in my fobs died in less than 10 months. They've been fine since I replaced them.

All of the maps applications (Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze) will remember your parking location if you enable that feature and connect the phone to the car. Then you can open map application and get walking directions directly to the car. Or, you can open your preferred and use the dop pin feature before exiting the car to remember that location.

Ha! This is more for my wife, she is technically challenged. She has trouble using her phone not alone trying to use an app for mapping.

I saw the earlier comments and started laughing.

I tell my wife she can remote start the car to get it warm, and she gives me a nod, or a smile. She never does it.

Later this week she's going to a concert on the campus nearby, with a garage with tight corners, tiny spaces, big curbs. Needless to say I'm dropping her and her girlfriend off, then returning to pick them up.

Ha, made me laugh too. My wife has preset 1 in the current cars, but does she ever use it, no. Every time she gets in after me, unless I remember to press it when I leave, she spends few minutes adjusting the seat to get it comfortable. I've shown her the button several times even pressed it for her with her in the seat, but nothing changes. At least the new car is going to lock itself when she walks away from it, so one less thing to worry about. I've tried for the last month to get her into install the Ford app, in preparations of the cars arrival, I get an "I will" and a smile, she doesn't have the app.

I think I'm just going to give up and give her all the key fobs anyway, as she seems to end up with them all, and we have three keys for each car right now. I'll just have to use PAAK and hope it works.

But we still love them ?
