Picking Up GT Today!!

Just got a call from my dealer (Denver) that my Iconic Silver GT is at the dealer!! It has to go through PDI (pre-delivery inspection), and then I can pick it up! Hopefully headed there in 3 hours and will sign all of the paperwork. Gave him my X-Plan PIN, so hopefully I don't have any issues with that today. Getting excited!!

Production Date: 9/10/21
Ship Date: 9/13/21
Delivery: 10/5/21

Phil Long in Littleton. Mine had some weird data show up in OVISS (that the pickup was cancelled), but it got from the Henderson, CO railyard on 10/1 to the dealer on 10/5.
And yeah, I didn't have a reservation...just walked into the dealer and placed the order with them. I originally tried to order online, but the system wouldn't work for some weird reason. The dealer even tried on their computer to have me login and order it, but it wouldn't finalize. So they placed it directly. I have no clue why mine got built faster than reservations...but I have to think it just has to do with the non-PE/color combination that I got in an allotment they built.

Originally the ETA was 10/26 after it shipped. Two days ago it dropped to 10/9. And then this morning it said 10/5.

Not sure yet...I haven't looked into it much. I do want to get the front windows tinted, and PPF (a necessity here in CO). I know ceramic coatings are the rage now, but I haven't looked into them and how much they cost. As for other aftermarket addons, any suggestions??

Front license plate or not? As of right now I have told my dealer no, but have gone back and forth on it.

I decided to get it...mainly because it's required here. I see a lot of Tesla's without it, so I've gone back and forth a bit. Might regret it, but my wife didn't want to have to deal with a plate in the window, or getting pulled over for it.

And poo! Another non-reservation delivered before my reservation even goes into production. I am pretty sure this will be the last car I buy from @Ford Motor Company unless something drastically changes, no matter how badly I want an F150 Lightning.
